• 2/28/23Very good nice and Smokey flavored prime rib! Large portion cooked med rare perfectly.
Braised short beef ribs were so tender, I personally would have liked a little more Cajun flavor though. Cheese steak is always a winner! Thank you very much for another good meal! I’m glad I live close to the tavern!

• 7/11/25The Mack Attack is absolutely amazing. Whoever decided that a chicken cheese steak needed a Caesar and Cobb salad on top should win some sort of culinary award. Will definitely be ordering again. The salad portion was fresh and the chicken cheesesteak portion was cheesy goodness. We will always order the Funnel Cake Fries and you should too!!

• 4/5/22Pathetic nachos. We chose to get them without pico so all they had on them was lettuce. The cheese was gross. Beside the pico option, Nachos should have a lot of other toppings on it like diced tomato, jalapeno, olives, onion. Description says "tri color" chips. These were plain yellow chips and a bunch tasted stale. Chicken was very dry. Nowhere near worth $13.00

• 11/7/22The food here is phenomenal:) We can confirm the wings with honey hot sauce are delicious!! my go to local spot for wings .
The black diamond steak pasta, is super tasty and always requires a nap afterwards.
the beef braised short ribs are also succulent and worth every penny. everything we have ordered to date was yummy and would recommend this place to others :)
ohhh and i can attest the oreo cheesecake and regular cheesecake are top notch as well :)

• 12/16/22So disappointed in the food quality tonight. $10 for potato skins that were 4 potato halves, each the size of an egg. Fish and chips. Fish was hard and dry as if it had been reheated in a microwave. The same with the chicken fingers. Then the chicken quesadillas. They had no filling, pretty much a folded up tortilla. Our bill for this meal that wound up in the trash was almost $80. C'mon Buckeye, you guys need to do better. I've been a patron for decades! I'm not one to leave this type of review, but I feel Terry and his management team need to be aware of what's going on. These reviews aren't exactly stellar!
