Two times in three days while visiting San Diego. What didn't I order! Burmese curry, tea salad, noodle salad, coconut rice but the pumpkin stew, er mer gerd. That's what dreams are made of! Thank you Burma place :)

We have ordered from this place before and have dined in many times. It just missed its mark today, the Tea leaf salad seemed to be missing some elements that you get in the restaurant. The Minty Jalapeno PORK was a bit on the dry side and just warm, not hot. Also know this restaurant is a bit pricier then most similar places and does not include rice with entrées.

I don't like leaving negative reviews because all businesses make a mistake from time to time. But when there's so much disappointment and the restaurant is rated 4.9 stars, it feels like I should share. 

We were excited to try this given the high rating and we ordered their three most popular dishes, but all three of us were disappointed. All portion sizes were small, no one felt like they had a enough to eat. The Tea Leaf Salad was mostly lettuce and didn't have many toppings like what's pictured. The Garlic Noodles were incredibly bland and most ended up in the trash. The curry for the Palata with Chicken Curry Dip was so greasy, the grease had to be poured off. The  Fried Spring Rolls were the only thing that seemed okay.

Black peper tofu is nothing like the photo. And they wouldnt refund my money for it. It is not a crispy tofu.

Everything I have ever gotten from here has been good. Love the tea leaf salad, sesame tofu and Samosas Soup. So yummy!!!
