The best I chopped down in awhile, just as described by previous reviewers, my food arrived hot , plenty of very meaty oxtails , VERY DELICIOUS.

I literally crave these stew peas. thus time intried it with oxtail gravy and rice and peas... and it was good but..I will stick to the original..white rice, stew peas and some potato salad..comes with salted pig tails and sometimes chicken foot. if yyou're squirming by the ingredients..don't waste it..leave it for themeal country food lovers.

Delicious, would order from here again. Decent portion of meat and rice & peas. Oxtail meat was soft off the bone and coleslaw was tart to cut through the deep stewed flavor.

For those with low spice(spicy food) tolerance, order the coleslaw/cabbage as a side and chew it up with your food to cleanse your palate and reduce the spice. PERFECTLY DELICIOUS and so well-seasoned; the coleslaw side is also perfect

i loooove cjs stew peas...but the personwho served me today did not follow instructions like a lot of gravy on the rice. i hate when i have all this dry white rice and a little gravy in the corner. this is my peas to rice ratio and the gravy is done. $17.00 for white rice.
