I Love Cocina Casera! The food is always excellently spiced and filling, the plantains are always fried to perfection, and of the restaurants at this price point, Cocina Casera easily makes my top 2 🙂

Extremely disappointed with this order. The quality, presentation, and overall experience were honestly terrible, especially for the prices they charge.
First, my yuca fries order was supposed to come with 8 pieces and only came with 6, yet I was still charged full price. Then the tostones dish that was supposed to come with slow-braised beef was sent with pork instead. I cannot eat pork due to an allergy, so that’s not just disappointing — it’s a serious mistake.
The presentation looked awful. The food was thrown together, soggy, messy, and honestly looked unappetizing. The dessert looked nothing like the photo advertised online. It was missing toppings and looked old, like it had been sitting out all day. I honestly didn’t even feel comfortable eating it because it did not look fresh at all.
For over $75, I expected much better quality control, accuracy, freshness, and presentation. There are so many other places with better food, larger portions, and better service for less money. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this restaurant at all.

The food is to die for ! The tostones were made to perfection , and the carne tasted like if i was in my home country. I also tried la plancha and it was such a flavorful and amazing meal. If you are in need of some gaucamole this restaurant has the BEST ! Everything i had was super healthy and tasty 100/100

The Canoa de Platanos with roast beef and Rojo sauce was incredibly flavorful and well balanced. I'm glad I got the Tres Leches cake as a reprive the heat of the rojo sauce.
Great meal, will dine here again!

Absolutely would order again. Flavors were outstanding! The empanadas were so flaky and crispy. The picante sauce doesn't hold back on the spice. The avocado sauce and arepa combo was our fave, but the soup was a close second. Very satisfied!
