since my last review, the folks in the kitchen have increased the number of tofu cubes in my Dwenjang Stew . *chef's kiss*
the Kimchi Wagyu Paella is a new favorite for my bf.

I ordered this for the first time a few days ago and it was so good and so delish I had to order the Steak Dup-bap again. Still giving them 5 stars (almost gave 4) as hoping it's a one off as the meat is pretty cooked and far from medium rare - but I did get medium rare the first time. Hoping it's a fluke. Well packed, portioned and tasted right off the grill fresh!

Our food arrived in a very timely manner - imagine having a delivery from a Michelin star restaurant! The presentation was gorgeous - already a feast for the eyes, beautiful packaging for everything. The dry aged ribeye was cooked to perfection, tender and melting in the mouth and the dash of the Cote salt opened the flavor even more. The hangar steak was equally tender and delicious. We also had the scallion salad and the Bibimbop bowl. The kimchi, samjang and gojuchang were all lively and exciting flavors to enhance our selections. Three of us ate and were fully satisfied and would definitely order again from here. The food was all fresh and clean - highly recommend COTE.

The portion on the Steak Dup-bap was insulting. I opened the container, that looks like a quart of of ice cream. It was mostly rice, not surprised. But they only included 2.7 oz of the skirt steak. I mean this a portion fit for a toddler, let alone a grown adult. And for $35? I expect a full portion for that. Flavor was decent. Needed more seasoning. The good news is the meat was tender. But that's about it.

the USDA Prime Hangar Steak is very good.
I love the Dwenjang Stew. HOWEVER, putting in only THREE cubes of tofu is diabolical. I have ordered this stew four times, and each time, i received EXACTLY 3 cubes of tofu. who's back there in the kitchen counting tofu?! in NYC restaurants, they fill the stew with tofu to the brim. it isn't even an expensive ingredient. Counting tofu is crazy work. Unfortunately, while I'm in miami occasionally, Cote is the only place that sells my favorite stew. The stew itself is very tasty though.
