so good. I used to order club house sandwiches from wellington diner, but Markies is so much better. big and full sandwiches. lots of meat and toppings. it's my new go-to!!

Got the Jumbo Smoked Meat Platter Combo 1 again. I usually order this meal once every time I come to Ottawa. It is always super tasty and I highly recommend you try it. If there was one piece of feedback I could give, however, it is that I wish the restaurant wouldn't pack the cold drink on top of the warm food and then tie the bag shut. It just results in the food getting cold and the drink getting warm, which is undesirable for both of them. Also the food container gets crushed in the centre by the drink and so the food inside gets mushed. Would be better if they found a different way to pack the meal before handing it off to the driver. That aside, I still highly recommend this restaurant. You won't regret it.

The Jumbo Smoked Meat Platter Combo 1 was quite good, but not great. The slices of smoked meat were narrower than I would've expected, made the sandwich feel less than Jumbo, and the meat was a bit dry. The fries were about 30% little end pieces many of which were inedible. I'd have rated this order a 3, but I know Markie's is usually better.

As usual I got the Jumbo Smoke Meat Combo and usual it was crazy delicious! Their fries are the best in the city.
I ask for my pop in a separate bag, because if it's lying on the sandwich box it makes the food cold.

the poutine is real poutine fries and gravy great, with real cheese curd, club sandwich one of the best ive had and the smoke meat was tender and flavourful
