This Place used to be a quality grilled establishment many years ago!! Currently it's just poor ingredients and a big regret every time I eat at El Pollo Loco honestly! The chicken used is not good for the price charged- $13.99 for a Double Chicken Bowl . It literally tastes like canned food tossed together and chicken is poor quality thigh for everything with no flavor and poor cheap cuts. I've eaten here since the late 80's...It's my last time and it was because they had a "good deal" ! Sorry but they can't compare to orher basic establishments near by for same or about near cost. Chicken Taco al Carbon is miniature with thigh meat as advertised- 6/10 rating since they advertise great grilled chicken.

This ( Double Chicken Bowl , was seriously large for 2 people and Im a large guy. I don't review often and this Double Chicken Bowl stood<<taggedItemId=93164718>> out for the cost for sure.

Very good food, the only problem is when I check no salsa or chips they always provide them anyways. Sometimes they mess up the 5 Pack of Tortillas giving me flour instead of corn, but this time they gave me the correct kind. El Pollo Loco is consistent on quality and taste, a very solid choice.

Ordered the 'Double' Chicken Bowl today, chicken was dry and have gotten smaller! So disappointed... did not order "double" the beans, half of my bowl were beans, and so little chicken. El Pollo Loco, you can do better! I would prolly take a break from you for a while!
