I have been enjoying this restaurant for years, the tacos and the marinated chicken, the fajitas, and the best salsa you can buy. Freshly made salsa is so good, I buy chips and salsa on their own and enjoy the salsa and chips at home all the time. If you have not been here, you are missing out on the finest Mexican cuisine there is in Southern California.

The BEEF BIRRIA TACOS are ridiculous. I had no idea el torito had this good of recipes under their belt. Portions big enough to easily make it 2 meals. Been getting them once a week lately because they're so good. Even their CHIPS AND SALSA is in a league of its own.10/10 this place is legit.

QUESADILLA - CHICKEN had no flavor and hardly any cheese. You would expect a proper portion of cheese in a quesadilla. The guacamole that came with it was brown and tasted like it had gone bad. I threw it away and bought guac from the grocery store. Definitely would not order this again.

I ate the nachos immediately when I picked them up from the restaurant but they were already extremely soggy and bland. Carne asada was very fatty. The shrimp were delicious though! El Torito is usually pretty good...this order just wasn't.

The care they put into to go orders is just ridiculous. Fiesta platter is a joke/tastes horrible and the quanity is not worth what you pay. Tamales are ehh, 3 choice platter is decent. The salad is my favorite, but they forget the dressing each and every time. No ordering from here anymore.
