The food was great! I've been to the location in DTLA but this was my first time placing an order to-go on Doordash. The delivery was on time and the food was still warm. The chicken was also extra crispy even though it was in a plastic container. I will definitely order again in the future.

GREAT FOOD! Amazing flavor, not too salty or spicy, hot, fresh and good price point. The chicken was fried to perfection! The YAMS!!!!!! OMG!!!! DIVINE!!!!!!!!! just the right sweet and texture, not mushy - just perfect!!! The greens seemed like a mix of a little sweet, and spicy, but delicious! and the MAC was cheesy mac-N (lol) delicious!!! Looking forward to more another time :)

Omggg the flavorsss are so good!! This is my new go to place. They give you AMAZING and generous portions, the food is fresh and warm each time, even though I live 20 minutes away. The Oxtailse are my absolute favorite! Especially with the Mac n cheese. I just tried their greens today and OH MY GOSH! Blown away! 10/10 every time they don't disappoint!!

We're usually a fan of Fixins, but the Mac and cheese on the 4th of July was off. It was somewhat bland. No one in the family finished their portion. :(
The greens also seemed to have more salt and vinegar than usual.

As a southern transplant, this place has become a staple for me when I'm craving a little bit of home. Some of the best fried chicken in the city, IMO and I'm a chicken FIEND. Mac and cheese is out of this world and no one does Kool-aid and sweet tea better. Corn bread is insane. Honestly I could write an essay but I'll chill.
