I went to my go to favorite dish House Salmon Filet always cooked to perfection with sautéed Zucchini and Cheesy Mac . For Dessert Brendas Cheesecake. Zuchini was sautéed perfect nice and buttery. I also got a cup of Red Beans & Rice Side delish. Love the consistency of the food.

The food here was great! Red beans and rice were so flavorful and a great price for a side, the Deleon Catfish was tasty and the etouffe that is with it is plate-licking good, the wings were juicy and the skin was very crisp, and my fiancee really liked the BC Chicken Alfredo - very garlicky! Will absolutely eat here again next time I'm in the area!

This was the best Fried Catfish I have ever eaten and I'm southern born and raised. Delicious meal and perfectly seasoned. Catfish was good and crispy! I got the corn grits which were creamy and piping hot, along with a fresh side salad with homemade dressing. I also ordered the Bread Pudding which is incredibly moist and flavorful. Big portions and I can't wait to eat the rest for lunch tommorow.

Absolutely excellent food. The hamburger steaks are old-school and made with the brown gravy. You heard me.. mashed potatoes on point. The Chicken and Sausage Gumbo (Cup) was fire as well. I wish they were closer to my house here in New Orleans. I would drive to them every day for this meal. This hamburger steak meal is the best one and all of the New Orleans area. As a professional chef, I'm very hard to impress, but they did an excellent job. Red beans and rice are serious pressure too. Mac and cheese is really good too but I had to add some hot sauce and Tony's but it was creamy and cheesy. Fresh fresh soul food. I'm a very happy man today.

My first time ordering and I got the Meatloaf with red beans and mac and cheese as sides because reviews lately on mashed potatoes weren't great. I THOROUGHLY enjoyed everything I got. The meatloaf was tasty, served dry but with gravy on the side. The gumbo was very good but just like the red beans, had too much rice which is why the rating is 4. The bread pudding was moist and sauce was good. I like bread pudding that's not just a clump of bread but has fillings which it did. It was firm but had a custard tasting inside and I love raisins in it and a sauce that isn't total sugar. I will def. order again because the food was tasty, was prepared very quickly, the order was perfect and I didn't have to wait forever. I ordered in part for the name and Home Cooking is just what I got!
