As a Mexican with 5+ years of experience I can't attest that J&R atascos has the best most authentic tasting food. There seems to be no shortcuts taken. You can tell a lot about a Mexican place by the way the beans taste and J&R is nothing but quality.

Not very good. The horchata was extremely watery. The enchiladas were too spicy to eat which has never been my experience with enchiladas. The queso fundido was hard and rubbery- I was expecting more of a dip. Would not order from them again given how many other great taco shops there are in town.

Burrito was decent, tacos tasted like eating cardboard. Chicken seems like boiled chicken. No seasoning that I could taste and dry. Burrito was only decent because of all the other items in the burrito supreme.
