The 커리 치즈 돈까스 / Cheese Curry Katsu is so incredibly flavoral! The cheese curry pork katsu is so crispy, pork extra tender and the gooey cheese just makes it even better! The absolute flavorful curry is thick, with some sweet and savory spices making it feel so comforting for the soul! This is the second time I have had it in the last week. It brings back fond memories when my Papa would take me to a nearby curry place by them when I would go stay with my grandparents for an extended weekend. Since it's been about 8+ years since my Papa has passed I had yet to find something close to that curry, and this is the only one I have found to be-able to come even close to it. Best chicken katsu that I ever have had. You have to try the dumplings, absolutely delicious! Going to try something new next time. Doordash is the way to go to get food from here. Place is packed all the time. I absolutely love the food here.

The 갈비탕 / Beef Short Rib Soup / Gal Bi Tang has become my new comfort food. The soup consistently arrives hot and is always exactly what I'm looking for after a long day. Perfectly seasoned and delicious, plus the rib meat is so tender it always falls off the bone!

Honestly, I usually do not leave reviews no matter how bad the food is, but this was so terrible that I had to. I ordered the spicy pork stone bowl for delivery. It was over $28, so I had really high expectations. It might be one of the most expensive items around OC. But when the food arrived, I was extremely disappointed.
First, the meat quality was very poor, and the way it was sliced was a mess, so it was very tough. It was badly overcooked, and the edges were even burned to the point that I could not eat them. I waited and paid $28 for this, but it tasted hundreds of times worse than the pork stir fry you can buy at the market for $7 per pound.
I was thinking about visiting the store in person, but now I will not. I truly hope no one orders this dish. And to the store manager, if you are going to deliver this menu item at this quality, take it off the menu. It was the worst. Who could possibly eat food that is burnt and hardened like this? Absolutely awful.

The Gal Bi Tang is my go-to order any time I need a little pick me up and Jin Cook always knocks it out of the park. The portions are great and I always feel so much better with warm soup in my belly.
