I visit Louisiana frequently. This gumbo is some of the best I have ever had! The portions given were very generous for the prices. The fish and shrimp were fresh not frozen! Food was hot and flavorful. I will definitely be ordering again! Food is worth every penny. They did not lie in the reviews!!

This was less than mid. Salmon is super dry and tough. Rice is spicy to cover that it has no flavor. The cornbread is mid. Mac n cheese is mid. The banana pudding is absolutely horrid. Waste of money.. I could've got a better meal from Arby's.

Blacken Blackened Tilapia (1) & Shrimp (3) & Blackened Tilapia (2) are very good, albeit very spicy! Everything was spicy! With the exception of the (pound cake) cornbread which, also was good and cooled down the spice. Tilapia was cooked well, seasoned down, blackened and delicious, very spicy.... the rice was delicious, seasoned down, and again spicy. The greens I got as a side, also mac n cheese, both very good. M&C thick and creamy, and the greens were also very good seasoned and cooked al dente but both were very spicy. The yams were cooked perfectly, could taste the sweetness and their chunks, not mashed, which I love. The meal was well rounded, enough for later, flavorful, and filling. My only complaint is every thing does not have to be spicy. Very good, albeit SPICY. Fresh and I would order again, I will suffer the burn lol

JMaries NEVER disappoints! The gumbo is authentic. The monster wings are my favorite and the sides are real soul food. I always have to get the banana pudding. 10/10

Omg I was trying something new and this was the best choice I got two nice size portions of tilapia definitely on the spicy side because it's blackened but just a rainbow of flavors in your mouth is how I will describe it lol when I got my food you can tell it was fresh because it was hot like they just took it off the grill and out the pot I got the yams for my side and baby yesssssss lol yessssssss those where so good and soft. I might have double back and order again tomorrow and try the salmon or turkey wings because lord this food was so good if you thinking about trying it please do you gone be so happy you did 100/100 definitely recommend
