Awesome Chicken Empanadas/Empanada de Pollo The Ground Beef Empanada/Empanada are both delicious. Try them with their homema hot sauce. I love their fresh juice especiallythe mora! The fried pollo with mojo yucca is top notch. Super tasty food. Highly recomm

The churrasco was super flavorful and delicious. I really enjoyed the black beans and the beef empanada was unbelievable! Definitely check this place out.

Order Details: Two steak and onions lunch specials with one empanada
I placed an order from Merenque and received my meal without rice, even though it is typically included. The ordering system did not allow me to select rice, and there was no clear way to add it.
When I called the restaurant to clarify, the woman who answered was rude and lacked basic customer service skills. Initially, I thought it might be a language barrier, so I had a Spanish-speaking coworker speak with her directly. Unfortunately, the interaction remained unpleasant and unhelpful.
I am extremely disappointed with the poor customer service I received and will not be returning. I advise others to be cautious when ordering, as the staff may not be willing or able to assist if there is an issue.

I ordered the Mofongo with Pork Chunks/Mofongo con Masitas de Cerdo and the Ground Beef Empanada/Empanada de Carne Molida and the Chicken Empanadas/Empanada de Pollo The food was so delicious. I will order again. The portions were great!
