• 6/14/26I have lived in SD since 1989 and heard about Mona Lisa Deli sandwiches, but the idea never enticed me. But today, I decided to try its sandwiches for the first time, with hesitant reservation. Gotta say, these are the best deli sandwiches I have ever tasted in San Diego, hands down. The deluxe #8 is best, and the Caprese, equally good, after adding a little salt. I think I found my favorite deli shop in SD and will order sandwiches only from Mona Lisa Deli from now on.

• 4/9/26Honestly, I would've taken a picture if it didn't look so good. I had to dive in. The sandwich had so much flavor and it was big enough for me to share! Definitely going to order Mona Lisa's again. I'm sure everything on their menu is great.

• 12/19/25I looooove this place! I can't eat mayo tho, and they didn't previously allow edits to items, so I've never been able to order from here on DoorDash. I submitted a request to allow this so that I can order from here on DoorDash and they approved it and quickly updated the site! Amazing food, amazing staff, amazing all around. I get the spicy sandwich!
