Had the French toast with grits, side of bacon and corn-beef hash and everything I mean EVERYTHING was cooked to perfection and with flavor! I honestly over ordered as the grits are in a large bowl and are filling on their own. I would definitely recommend ordering.

Little dive near the port, but don't let the location fool you. This is good, belly-filling soul food. I ain't had collard greens this good since I left Alabama, & her Mac & Cheese is the thing love poems are written about.

I really enjoyed the breakfast I got from Ms. Lizzie's I got a sausage egg and cheese, it was a classic SE&C but the delicious fresh gard roll made it even better. I also got grits, banana pudding and home fries. The home fries were seasoned well but not too high in salt, which was good. It was a good portion  The grits were so fresh and hot. It was a perfectly salted, I had it with maple syrup though. The order of grits was enough for 3 people tbh. The banana pudding was so fresh and delicious! The custard was really good, it had slices of perfectly ripe bananas and wasn't too heavy or sweet.

Honestly the aunt jemima boxed pancakes are better than the pancakes they serve here. Couldn't even finish it. The french toast was dry.     The home fries were really oily but edible. Will not order from here again, wasn't worth the money.

Mrs.Lizzie's kitchen has impressed me with their breakfast and now they've done  it again with their dinner items. The BBQ Beef Ribs, Macaroni & Cheese,Candied Yams and Lemon Cake were excellent! I cant say enough about the food here except that you should try some of it. You won't be disappointed except for maybe the full cost of delivery
