As a plant based consumer in the NW DC area you have to know this place. Known for delicious mains and numerous tasty sides. My go-tos are the Vegan Fried Chick'n Sandwich (Sandwich Only) and Side Vegan Mac & Cheese along with Side Ginger Collards. All of the above are always delicious! I also tend to order the Vegan Chick'n Drummies (Entrée Only). These are also good! Only thing it can be hit or miss on if they send sauces along. On this particular day no sauces were included but I digress. I also ordered Ginger Spiced Tofu (Entrée Only) which is a departure from my norm but turned out very delicious and very gingery which I loved!
At any rate I'd highly recommend this place for your plant based fix any day or night of the week!

This meal was a 9/10! The Vegan Chick'n Drummies (Entrée Only) are consistently delicious. The Side Vegan Mac & Cheese can be hit or miss, I guess depending on who makes the batch. But this batch was unbelievably creamy and delicious. And the Side Collard Greens also tends to vary based on the cook of the day. This batch tasted ok, but it had too many stems for my taste. Overall delicious meal.

This place may give soul food joints a run for their money honey! The Vegan Chick'n Drummies (Entrée Only) were so fire!!!! Seriously one of the best chick'n products ive ever tried and the bbq sauce is sweet and tangy just the way its supposed to be ;) I also enjoyed the fla of the Side Collard Greens and the Side Vegan Mac & Cheese was dreamy. Will def be ordering again in the future.

Hands down the best Vegan Fried Chick'n Sandwich in DC, not contest. Their southern potato salad is easily the best potato salad ive ever had, even better than most NON vegan potaoe salads.

I was starving, so I decided to try this place because the event I'm attending tonight may not have vegan options. I'm so glad I tried this place! The vegan cheeseburger and the sweet potatoes were delicious. The burger tasted fresh and not processed. The sweet potatoes were delicious. Sweet but not sugary. The ginger drink was definitely gingery. If you like ginger, you'd love this. If you don't like ginger you may not like this because like the Force, the ginger is strong. I'm giving y'all 4/5 stars only because the side dish of vegetables were not seasoned. Also I don't like cold veggies unless it's crudités. I love this place and you're officially on the rotation.
