So much to live about this place. The steak is is steak quality in flavor. Their signature sauces are unique in the space. And if you compare how much meat they put into a dish compared to rhymes with chai and potle, its approx 3x more for the same price.

Second time ordering from Papalote. The Carne Asada Burrito, is giving much flavor, texture and fresh ingredients. Super Carne Asada Burrito is enough for two meals. Excellent price and choice if you want authentic Mexican cuisine! Kudos!!!

Got the Chorizo Burrito (and made it super with cheese, sour cream & guac). It was so good!! Lots of flavor, and among the best I've had in SF. I added a side of chips & salsa and the portion was a bit small, but tasty nonetheless.

The Pollo Asado Burrito and Carne Asada Burrito had everything but meat, the amount of meat for this price is ridiculous.
The flavours are also very bad, all you taste is beans and beans that do not taste that good, would not recommend.

I had tried papalote before and had a delish burrito. I saw it on here and read the amazing reviews, but after having it tonight, I was disappointed because the quality wasn't it... It was too salty and I got a super burrito but it had more rice than anything... barely got to taste any of the other ingredients until the last few bites at the bottom. Not much meat either which was sad.
Only thing I really enjoyed were the chips and salsa.
Hopefully it was just a miss tonight... am disappointed though.
