Consistent is correct. I always get the correct things or better substitutes (happened once in the last 8 years). I've tried four different poke places nearby and the rest of them are not just worse, they are actually bad. Poke Luau is the best tasting and biggest portions AND FRESHEST FISH IN THE GAME. Order every month.

the meat is now a paste and not cubes of cut fish and significantly less rice in the Large Bowl considering the price of the large. the freshness of te fish was questionable due to the paste texture. I will probably try another poke place until this one goes back to normal 6/10

I have had other Poke places that are local, way better. This was just mid. The cuts of fish were super small, and for a Large Bowl, didn't have much. It was fresh, I'll say, but overall prob will not return. Others are better value.

Honestly, if you are picking
Between this and pokeland, just pick pokeland. The shrimp is the store bought pre boiled kind and the spicy tuna had a fishy and iron taste. I will not be ordering again.

This is my favorite poke place in Ventura County and I've been a regular here for the past 3 years... And I have never been so disappointed. I ordered 2 regular bowls and barley got any of my 3 selected proteins in either, the rice was old, hard, and dry, and the taste was HORRID. It tasted like iron, and that's putting it lightly..
