Hmm where to start...
Ive order pizza from here a handful of times, and it's always been decent. Nothing crazy good but nothing bad. Overall a very average, if not, below average pizza.
But as per usual, not many places are open as late as Port Pizza unfortunately.
My friend and I ordered the Vanderbilt and the Notre Dame pizza. Small size (9" diameter) for just under $17 each.
The Notre Dame wasnt bad. Nor the Vanderbilt, although the pesto sauce did not taste fresh. And they put A LOT of pesto on there. Which is great, more pesto the better, except it tasted like old pesto.
Also, the Garlic butter lacks any taste of garlic and is essentially just butter.

the Sauced Wings (10) are so good, really crispy and the sauce was tasty. new favorite wing place! and the Cheese Calzone are great because you can add all sorts of toppings. takes a bit longer than some other places but everything is fresh and hot

I can only speak of the pizzas, which are solid. Great crust with some crisp and chew. Robust sauce and good quality cheese. My go-to is chourico and onions, but all the special pies i've tried were really good. They could use to be baked a titch longer for my taste, but i often re-heat so it works out well.

I'm always leary of trying new restaurants, but since it was right up the street and they have many of the meals I love, the kind mom used to make, I gave it a shot. I am so happy I did! The Teriyaki Sauced Tenders were absolutely mouth watering. The Chicken Parm sandwich was right up there with what you'd expect from a 5 star. It was toasted just right, sauce and cheese were end to end and cooked to perfection. My last meal though, was the Chicken fettuccine Alfredo, it was very good and I wouldn't hesitate to get it again, but I had already been spoiled by the Johnston and Wales version from there chefs at a Radison hotel in Georgia and the Chili's version when I washed dishes there back in the day. Just looking at Port Pizza's delicious menu items, I cant wait to order from them again and give my taste buds another tasty adventure! But no one will ever cook like mom! <3

first time trying this place. Cheese Small 10" was cooked perfectly as I requested well done and it was. great crisp and zero flop. it also had one of the better sauces I've tasted in a while. top 5 on the island for sure.
