I would love to try something else on the menu, but I just can't get past the Fruit Basket Cake. It is absolutely out of this world!
In the 50+ times my husband and I have visited Rick's Dessert Diner, I have ordered a slice of the Fruit Basket Cake every single time. It's that good. The cake is incredibly moist, the fresh fruit is plentiful, and the flavors are perfectly balanced. Every bite reminds me why I never stray from my favorite.
My husband always orders the Death by Chocolate cake, and it's equally delicious. The chocolate filling has an incredibly creamy, smooth texture that makes each bite rich without being overly heavy. It's a chocolate lover's dream.
If you're visiting Rick's Dessert Diner for the first time, you really can't go wrong with either of these desserts. They're consistently fresh, beautifully made, and a big reason we keep coming back.

Late night craving for sweets and this did not disappoint. The desserts were well packaged and tied tightly in a plastic bag, and everything looked so pretty in the clear containers. Individual York Style Cheesecake was delicious rich and smooth! Strawberry Bagatelle (Our Version of Strawberry Shortcake!) was refreshing and light - just the right amount of sweet! The Key Lime Pie Slice! looks soo good, like whipped perfection and the extra crumbles on the side are appreciated. I plan to try the pie tmrw but I'll order again in the future for sure. :)

My favorite place for a sweet treat! The Key Lime Pie Slice! (served in its own mini pan) is fresh and tangy. The Classic Chocolate has layers of chocolate cake, chocolate ganache, chocolate buttercream, and is frosted in chocolate buttercream.
Both desserts are generously portioned, and I would definitely order again!

This is my favorite dessert store! I’ve ordered the tres leches for the second time and the flavor is amazing. The cake itself is perfect and very delicious. My only small suggestion would be to include a little more of the milk around the cake, just to have extra to enjoy with each bite. Overall, I love it and will definitely keep ordering!

I ordered the key lime pie, yellow cake, chocolate cake and another. The hubby didn't like the pie--said it had too much whipped cream but my cakes were delicious. Moist and flavorful and the slices are generous enough that they can be shared.
