classic example of a place that focuses on quantity not even any sort of quality. I live very close delivery distance from them so yes I didn't expect sit down restaurant quality food but it should still be pretty decent.
Beef Shawarma Plate.. dry, bland flavor strips of beef - the baba ganoush had a weird slimy texture to it and just tasted smoke no other flavors. salad included is just a basic house salad tiny portion.
the goods - the garlic sauce was great and it's a big combo for the price. I've had beef in various formats after being cooked delivery to me from at least 2x the distance they are and those were still warm, flavorful and juicy, eetc.

I recently visited Shawarma & Shakes and tried their chicken shawarma platter, pita, and cheese sambosak—and I was not disappointed.
The presentation was beautiful and inviting, with each item plated thoughtfully. The chicken shawarma was packed with flavor: juicy, well-seasoned, and complemented perfectly by the sides. The pita was warm and pillowy, ideal for scooping up every bite. The cheese sambosak was a pleasant surprise—crispy on the outside with a rich, gooey cheese filling that hit all the right notes.
If you're craving bold flavors and a satisfying meal, Shawarma & Shakes is absolutely worth a visit.

Always great quality food and generous portions. The staff are very polite and courteous, and clearly care about their standards, service, and customer experience. I highly recommend their Chicken Shawarma Plate with extra garlic sauce.

Feel bad saying this but food's really mediocre. The Lamb Kebab Wrap came in a wrap and not a pita, which was surprising but not the worst. Still really just bland food all the same. The Beef Shawarma Plate was also equally bland. We asked for bbq sauce replacement, which is generally available in these types of establishment and they didn't have it. The Baklava was burned at the bottom. Truly, the food stands in New York serves better gyros and plates than this restaurant. Disappointing food, not worth its price. Giving a 3/5 because it's not terrible, just mediocre for its price point.

The chicken was good, as was the falafel but the beef was gray and chewy and the milkshakes were really sad for $10 each- honestly a wendy's frostee would have been better and cheaper.
