Since 2012, Silverlake Ramen has been the neighborhood spot for rich bowls of tonkotsu — flavorful, slow-cooked broth, veggies, and noodles. Their motto, “Serving good vibes,” sets the tone at this Su…
Sooooo goooood, the Chicken Karaage Bowl did not disappoint, the potion is great, chicken is crispy but the sauce adds the right amount of softness (if that makes sense) and the rice is perfection. And the Gri Gyoza 6 pcslled I think I'll always end up getting an order of these

I always order the Shoyu on Fire ramen for myself and it always tastes fresh, spicy and it's a decent portion. I order it every time I go and highly recommend it to anyone. I ordered the Blaze ramen for my friend and he never stops talking about how flavorful the broth is. Silverlake is our weekend go to dinner spot.

The portions were unusually small. I eat here often and am familiar with the portion sizes, but this only had one VERY thin strip of pork, and tofu wasn't in squares, it was smashed and crumbled completely. It was a very poor portion size and poorly made. I was very unsatisfied.

I love getting their protein bowls. It's so fresh and super flavorful. $10 for for a big bowl that fill me up! 10/10 would order again

First, let me say that our door dasher Anthony did a great job.
On to the Classic Tonkutsu... I would not recommend this dish. It lacks the depth of flavor found in other ramen dishes. The pork, while tender, is not pork belly, like you would traditionally find in tonkutsu. For some reason, Silverlake uses dairy to make the broth creamy. That is not what true ramen is. The price for this inferior ramen bowl is higher than better-quality ramen from local shops, such as Kaedama. My recommendation, skip Silverlake and go with Kaedama instead.
