Absolutely delicious!!! The shrimp were seasoned and fried to perfection. Mouthwatering. Perfect amount of shrimp also. The fries were delicious and the Mac & cheese OMG !!! Tasted like my Gmom's recipe! Im impressed.

I'm not normally a fried shrimp person. I think it's almost always a waste of a way to prepare shrimp compared to any other method. But I was curious because of the reviews, so I gave it a shot.
It delivers! It's not your usual bland breading with little (if any) salt or pepper. It's well-seasoned with some cajun and citrus notes, and I swear they also infuse flavor into the shrimp. The rice and beans with gravy is GREAT. Lots of flavor in the rice and the juices. Reminds me of Gigi's back when they still ran food trucks. Portions are great especially for the price. Eight medium shrimp and they don't skimp on the sides.
Also heard great things about the whiting, but it wasn't on the menu or I would have ordered that too. I'm a sucker for good whiting I don't have to fry myself, and the way they handle their shrimp gives me hope. The rice and beans also make me want to try their jerk and pepper steak despite the ratings.
Will order again for sure!

Ordered two orders of their fried shrimp platters one with fries and one with mac and cheese. 100/10 sooo good, shrimp is crispy, crunchy and well seasoned, fries were great and mac & cheese was delicious. Love the fact they are open late. Definitely will order again!!!

I ordered the Cheeseburger (2 Sides) the fries were so good. So flavorful I don't know what that seasoning is called but I need that. And the Mac and cheese oh my goodness it was a good representation of American soul food very well seasoned and the cheeseburger was good and had all the condiments I needed. And the sauce on the side was so good. A lil spicy but still so good.

The pep steak was sweet and spicy and the gravy was a sauce not brown gravy. It wasnt what I was expecting . However they did put plenty steak and sauce in the tray. Rice was good but they could give you more . It looks like they just gave one lil scoop. Cabbage was good tho.
The fish was smacking tho. My son said he loved it. Will order that next time for myself
