I know the Monte Christo is like $15 but it's so worth it. It's big enough to split between two meals so it's a two for one in my mind. The mocha is good too. Not overly sweet - just the right amount of flavor.

The Ham Thyme & Gruyere was savory with a touch of sweet from croissant - absolutely delicious. The Beignets with Creme Anglaise - to die for. Sparrow Bakery always makes it right, one of favorites in Bend for 14 years.

Sparrow is always one of our favorite places to visit in bend. The food and beverages are phenomenal. Though pricy, the breakfast sandwiches are to die for. The fresh pastries are super soft and fluffy. We were happy to see that they were open on a holiday. The lines are always long, so we opted to order for pickup via DoorDash this time. There were signs for DoorDashers about waiting near the outdoor express window, but the signs were inside of the window nook (not facing the street) so hard to find. Someone else who had ordered for pickup told me she didn't see the signs and had waited in the long express order line. My order was not marked ready within the estimated pickup window, which was fine. However after waiting a few mins to check in after the estimated pickup time frame had passed, I was told my order would be ready in 2 minutes. I waited nearby for 10 mins before asking again, then another few mins before they got the order out. It was clear that they were understaffed.

Vanilla Bean Latte is my absolute favorite latte! Perfection 👌
The Yoly's Torta was really good.It needs to be eaten right way as thebun will get pretty soggy, and it could also use a little more sauce.
As always, Sparrow is one of the best.

Love this place. Prices are excellent. Has become my normal morning routine. The ham & Gruyère croissant is delicious with that hint of sweetness, perfect temperature. The chai tea mixed with apple whiskey is my new favorite drink- hands down. Perfect combination for these cold winter mornings... yet best part is you can enjoy these for under $20.00. I would highly recommend this place to others for a quick, delightful breakfast grab.
