Best quality sushi in the area for the best price. The King Tuna Roll (8 Pcs) is so incredble and unique. Everything is fair priced. Unlike some other shops that charge $1 or 2 extra between an Avocado Roll (6pcs) and Sweet Potato Tempura Roll (6pcs) just because Avocado is popular, all of the standard rolls here are $5.50. Will be ordering again, again, and again!

Shrimp tempura was warm and phenomenal and honestly the highlight of my order. It had such a crispy panko shell and the actual meat was tender and cooked extremely well. Also the shrimp are pretty big so you’re definitely getting a bang for your buck.
The shrimp teriyaki entre was good, but the shumai was just not it— it had one tiny piece of shrimp per dumpling and the filling tasted more like gefilte fish than shrimp. Needless to say I didn’t finish that part of the entre.
Everything else was just fine. Will order again

It was amazing! I was hesitant but got it and im SO happy. Very fresh. The liquid as separate from the rest of it so you could really see how fresh it was. It was a lot of food for the price too. Loved it.

Tokyo Express continues to be my favorite place to order sushi in the Poughkeepsie area. The Volcano Roll is delightfully crisp and just spicy enough to feel good, the Shumai is delicious both fried and steamed, and the more standard rolls are all wonderfully crafted. And even though I don't generally use either for my sushi, I can appreciate that every roll comes with a generous amount of wasabi and soy sauce.
10/10, would recommend this place for sushi.

Got the Salmon Bento Box for lunch. The care that the restaurant usually takes was not on display here. The salmon was not fresh and had spoiled odor and taste. The spring rolls were underdone and too spicy. On the positive, the rice was perfect and the CA roll was p decent. I'm disappointed overall and will probably take a break from ordering here.
