• 6/4/25We ordered from Valerie’s Taco Shop while staying in town on vacation, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. It’s rare for takeout to hit all the marks, but this one came pretty close.
The California burrito was huge and incredibly flavorful - the carne asada was tender and juicy, the fries inside added just the right crunch, and the sour cream and guac tied it all together with a creamy finish. Perfectly wrapped and super satisfying.
The shredded beef tacos were another favorite. The shells were perfectly crunchy (not soft!), and the beef inside was packed with flavor. No sogginess, no skimping - just really well-done tacos.
We also ordered churros, which arrived hot and crispy with a fluffy center and just the right amount of cinnamon sugar. Paired with Mexican Cokes, it made for an ideal comfort food night in.
There was a small hiccup with a missing side of rice for one of the a la carte tacos, but it was resolved quickly and didn’t take away from the overall experience.
Everything arrived hot, fresh, and packed with care. We’re already planning to order again before we leave town. Highly recommend if you’re looking for flavorful, no-fuss Mexican food that hits the spot!

• 9/18/25Everything is good.... I thought the shredded beef taco came with guacamole and I requested it in the side but didn't get any and the pricing on the rice is incorrect as it says $2 but they charge over $3 for a 4oz side. I normally don't do DoorDash for here and go in but was in a pinch... overall, we'll go there again. Burritos are HUGE... just fyi!

• 7/13/24I've been hooked on the California burrito for a few months now and not once has it been bad in any way. The meat is always fresh and cooked right, the frys are never brown or old, and they give a good amount of cheese! LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

• 12/4/23Potato taco was good. Possibly the worst california burrito I've ever eaten however. Burnt, black fries inside. Arrived ice cold with raw cheese. Inside not mixed together at all so half the burrito was meat and the other half was cold cheese. Probably won't order from here again; other restaurants have better burritos for cheaper.

• 11/20/24The agua fresca always good can never go wrong bu my burrt diffinitely not worth 21 dollars for everthing I have half to my bf he didnt like it either this picture half was mine and it tastes so raw and looks very raw not well cooked at all I tried adding the xtra sauce to see if I can void the raw meat but it is horrible, I ordered food instead of eating at home bc Iwanted to give myself a treat after a long day atwork my dasher was great but the restaurant im sorry not my best time so sad I hope I can get a refund or a redo on my food
