• 10/18/22Variable Cafe is our favorite vegan place now. It used to be Sage plant bistro. What we love about Variable Cafe is 1) everything is so fresh and super delicious 2) people there ( owners and servers) are so nice you f you eat in 3) price is kind.
My absolute favorite is My Son's Pho. My husband favorite is Banh Mi sandwich. Their vegan carrot cake is to die for!!! Everything we had there are so delicious! I highly highly recommend Variable Cafe!!!

• 2/4/26We LOVE this restaurant!! Our favorite is their Carrot Cake, super yummy and with a little citrus in the icing. Tried the Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookie (actually we tried the double chocolate chip cookie) which was impossibly chocolatey and delicious. Next time we're ordering the salad with tofu skewers. We eat in person and via DD, but I'm sure no matter how you get it, you'll love it.

• 10/23/24My DoorDash order was great!! The Caesar's Hubris (Sugar Free Dressing) had a strong dressing with enough flavor for all of the lettuce and I would recommend adding the soy chicken. The Carrot Cake had a great flavor with a lemon flavor tinted icing. The cake was a little dry and icing was a bit too sweet, but overall, the cake eating experience was good!

• 2/17/26Poor packaging. The quality of the soup was uncooked with unpleasant and rather hard, undercooked vegetables making the texture gross. The drunken cauliflower was soggy. Perhaps the inconsistency comes from ordering delivery. But... I will not order delivery again.

• 3/31/22The Sunset Strip Burger is the most delicious , restaurant-made, vegan burger I've tasted. The patty reminds me of an Impossible Burger. It's marinated in an Asian-ish tasting Sunset Strip Sauce, which delighted my taste buds. The patty was topped with fried basil, caramelized onion, jalapeño, and spring mix on a sesame seed bun. I highly recommend ordering portobello mushrooms as an add on. It really adds to the whole experience. Enjoy!
