First time ordering and will NOT be the last. I was devastated when I heard Hook & Master was closed as they made my favorite pizza and I never thought I'd find love again. I did. This is it. The Sweet & Spicy Pizza. This is the pie that satisfies all my deepest pizza cravings when I want a pie with heft, spice, a touch of sweetness. I've been trying a lot of other pies in the city and this is one of the best. I will say that this is an occasional pie for me but boy will it be a special occasion. Some drawbacks for me are: the intensity of the heat, grease, and char of the crust. I feel like it would be even better if those was pulled back slightly. I also don't know if all three meats are necessary. I would have been just as satisfied, if not more, if the soppressata and sausage weren't included.
TLDR; If you're looking for a weekend pizza and you're good with spice, try this.

Wilder used to be very good, so I hate to have to write this review as a long time fan, but recently their quality control has been poor. The Genovese Pesto sauce tasted gross, and they don't even give you a lot of sauce and extremely small portions for the price. They put old, not fresh grated parm on a $20 Margherita and don't give you the option to remove it, ruining the entire pizza (they seem to use fresh grated parm on the pastas so IDK what's up). The last two times I've ordered from here I've been displeased and felt like it was a waste of money, whereas in previous years I ordered countless times and it was always delicious and high quality.
The best items from Wilder consistently are the Burrata & Blueberries seasonal salads and other salad options like Yellow Wax Bean & Endive Salad, as well as raw oysters and their cocktails (which you can't order on the app, understandably). I would not recommend their cooked/hot food for the foreseeable future. This restaurant likes to take feedback, so I hope they will improve their ingredient selection and chef hiring, as well as adding modification options, so that I can enjoy this restaurant like I used to.

The Roasted Oysters were phenomenal and oh so flavorful! I will be ordering that again. I didn't even want to share the five that they gave me. Also, the Bomboloni was nothing short of amazing! Best way to end my meal!!

I've been eating at Wilder for months now. However the creste di gallo was very underwhelming. The sausage was overcooked almost rock hard. There was almost no sauce on the pasta. Would not recommend. The sausage taste tasted like it was cooked this morning, definitely not fresh. I would not order this again.

Sweet and spicy pizza is outstanding. The quality of the meat toppings is excellent and the crust has a tasty oven baked char.
