Good food but rice and salad portions were very small and they used to be bigger. For a $20 plate I expect more. Chicken is still well seasoned and cooked.
Beef skewer a la carte was $15 & you get 4 tiny chunks of meat, it was also overcooked.

We love the Chicken Kabob Plate and rotisserie chicken BOWLs. The garlic paste is solid. Pitas are always fresh. Service is fast and the food always fresh and hot.
The bowl is massive, we find it's usually good for 2 of us to split, along with some added sides.
We order here regularly, at least monthly.

Ordered two skewers and got 4 pieces of chicken. Not worth the money at all, not what Angelenos expect from Zankou. This location, though once amazing, consistently under-delivers and gets orders wrong.

I've probably had hundreds of good meals from Zankou Chicken but tonight's half chicken plate dinner was beyond disappointing. The chicken was so overcooked and dry it was almost inedible. There was almost no meat on the leg and the bone was loose enough to fall out by itself which only happens if it's overcooked. I would also note that the portion was smaller than usual, not worth the price.
