I’ve been a fan of Zaxby’s in the past, but my recent visit was quite disappointing. I ordered the chicken tenders and fries, and unfortunately, the quality was well below the standard I’ve come to expect.
The chicken tenders were surprisingly dry and tough, suggesting they had been sitting under a heat lamp for far too long rather than being cooked to order. The breading, which is usually crispy, was soggy and lacked the seasoning I usually enjoy.
As for the fries, they were lukewarm and limp. They lacked that fresh, golden-brown crunch, and they were heavily undersalted, making them taste quite bland. It felt like the entire meal had been prepared well in advance and left to sit, which really ruined the texture and flavor profile of the food.
For the price point, I expected a much fresher meal. I hope the kitchen can pay closer attention to their holding times and food quality control in the future, as this visit was a letdown.

I am disappointed with my order today. I ordered the boneless wings & things. The boneless wings were old, dark and very hard. The toast was burned. The fries were "okay" but they could have been better. It's usually a or miss when ordering online, but this was horrible.

The House Zalad® - Grilled didn't look like it had the right amount of chicken, but other than that, the Basket of Texas Toast, my drink, and Chocolate Chip Cookies were amazing.
