Either the Djon Djon Rice Bowl had a container that was too big or not enough food in container. The shrimp was just spicy. The rice was not impressive. I had to add my own seasonings for it to be edible. The sauce tasted weird and made me nauseous. I don't know why they didn't just put it on the side. I thought it came with tomatoes but I guess not. I've had Haitian black rice before. The rice itself was a 5/10. The shrimp was 3/10. The sauce, not a fan. It would taste good to someone who doesn't use seasoning in their food and doesn't know how Haitian food is supposed to taste. Disappointed. The reviews led me to believe that it was going to be tasty. Also the picture, that is how I received the bowl. Sure it could be the door dasher on how they stored the food, but the fact that it's half empty is wild. 20 something dollars btw.

The Epis aioli makes the bowl burst with flavor! It's tangy with a hint of heat! The salmon was seasoned well and the rice was tender! All of the flavor were harmonious! I'm not even a fan of plantains, and I love the perfect char that brought out the sweetness!10-10 recommend!

The Djon Djon Rice Bowl is my go to! It's flavorful with a bit of spice and best of all it's a good price. I also enjoy getting the Griot Tacos - always super flavorable and can be treated as a meal, not just a starter.

Literally the best restaurant in Smyrna. We tried the Gullah Shrimp Tacos tonight which were delicious with the perfect amount of spice, and the Blackened Grouper was a fantastic portion and nice piece of fish. We literally can't order here without getting the Plantain Nachos, so those were a delight as always. Thank you for bringing such wonderful, flavorful food to our neighborhood!
