"I am beyond frustrated with the order that I got from Village Inn. I ordered a double-decker sandwich with French fries and a Cobb salad through DoorDash, and what I received was completely unacceptable.
The sandwich bread was burnt, and the French fries were practically nonexistent. I counted maybe seven fries total, yet I was charged for a full order. The fries honestly looked like someone had already eaten most of them and sent the leftovers anyway.
The Cobb salad was a complete disaster and didn’t come anywhere close to what it’s supposed to be. It was missing chicken and eggs, the lettuce was old and wilted, and the tomatoes were spoiled. This was not just careless — it was flat-out inedible.
To make matters worse, when I called the store and spoke with the assistant manager, he told me he “checked on my order” and that everything should have been included. That makes this even more insulting. If the order was actually checked, how did no one notice that the salad was missing major ingredients, made with old produce, and that the sandwich bread was burnt and the fries were barely there?
I am appalled at how far customer service and food quality have declined. We are paying more than ever for food, delivery fees, and service, yet somehow receiving burnt food, missing items, spoiled ingredients, and half portions is considered acceptable. This experience was beyond disappointing, and I will seriously think twice before ordering again.
And yes, that is the salad in my trash because it was so bad and uneatable!"

"The French Toast Dippers were nice and flakey. There as a good crispy-ness to them and a good portion for $8 Would get again. The bacon A Flight of Bacon wasn't crispy. Not my favorite."
"Not great but not terrible. I ordered the Chicken & Waffles. Waffle was overcooked and hard. 3 tiny pieces of chicken. Chicken tasted like it had been frozen and prepackaged. We asked for the A Flight of Bacon to be crispy and it was so soft and mushy. Cinnamon Roll was mediocre, had a store bought taste. Brunch Benedict was decent. Overall it's overpriced for just okay food. Willing to give another chance in the future but definitely no high expectations."
