The burger was tasty but lacked any BBQ flavor. The fries were soggy, skimpy portions and lacked salt. The strawberry shake was yummy but was teeny tiny. The hotdog Combo was ok. "I was not impressed with the early days of this restaurant.
But since they reopened after a long absence, I decided to give them a try.
The food is surprisingly very good.
I had the Chicken Tikka wrap. It didn't have a LOT of chicken, but it was flavorful and filling.
The Chicken Tikka Masala was good, and enough for two. The Plain Naan and the Garlic Naan were done perfectly.
We tried the Strawberry Lassi and, while it's *fine* it's not great. Strawberry syrup stirred through the yogurt drink just isn't great. Next time, it'll be a plain Lassie.
The good news, there will be a next time! "

Aroma has high quality meats and I appreciate the large pieces of chicken in the Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala . This restaurant is reliable for a wholesome, flavorful, delicious meal. "I just moved to Vallejo two weeks ago and thank God I found Anita’s. I’m super picky about breakfast burritos, and hers was HUGE and absolutely delicious. For comparison, the only burritos I’ve ever really rated are from Don Chuy’s in the Excelsior and Breakfast Little in the Mission—both hella good. Anita’s is right up there, just bigger.
The coffee tasted exactly like the Señorita coffee I always order at Breakfast Little, which I love. And something I’ve never commented on before—the tortilla. It was so soft and fresh that it actually stood out to me, and that’s the first time ever I’ve noticed that in a burrito.

I love spicy chicken, and usually order from angry chickz or fire wings. This place CLEARS THEM BOTH. I've ordered the Chicken N' Cheese Bowl, Mac N Cheese, and fruity pebbles shake. Usually when you get nacho cheese from restaurants it tastes kinda cheap, but their cheese sauce actually tastes rich and quality. The chicken is incredibly tender, and the amount of spice in their spicy flavor is perfect. I'm genuinely shocked by how good this place is --- I expected it to be on par with angry chickz or chick fil a or whatever (how much better or different can these chicken places really get) but I was wrong.
