"This was my first time not only trying Filipino food, but also food from this restaurant. It was definitely a hit for me with both the Pancit Bihon w/ Chicken and Shanghai Lumpia (Chicken). Both were large, generous portions, to the point where I was not even able to finish it. I especially loved the Shanghai Lumpia (Chicken) which wwte just the right size and really smooth and easy to go down. A really tasty treat. For the Pancit Bihon w/ Chicken, while also really great, I wish it had a little more spice to it, just a little kick or something. I understand that's how it's made, so I ended up adding some crushed trees pepper to it (that I happed to have). I may use another hot sauce next time just to help bring out more of the flavor. But overall, I really liked it and will be ordering again from here with no hesitation!"

"Brutal review incoming. We got 3 burritos, grilled chicken and pastor. Nothing tasted good. The rice was dry and falling apart, as if maybe it was old. The chicken wasn't well flavored and also had an off smell and taste, like it wasn't fresh. Beans had no flavor. There was no sour cream or cheese in the burritos, even though thats standard everywhere else, and bc everything was so dry, the burritos just fell apart. The guac with my wet burrito tasted slightly spoiled. The best I can say is mostly it was mostly edible and we didn't get sick. This is the last time I'm giving this place a chance. We live nearby so I've ordered three times over the course of a few years, each time hoping something changed there, but it's never good, or else we'd order often. With all the outstanding taco trucks and taquerias in the Fruitvale area, Do NOT waste your money at La Hacienda. Honestly I don't know how they stay in business. It's never busy and serves bad food.
