"I recently had the chance to try this meal and I was really impressed. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. Every bite had a nice balance of seasoning, and you could tell quality ingredients were used.
The portion size was everything!!! Everything tasted homemade rather than overly processed. The presentation was also great — the dish looked just as good as it tasted.

"Never again. I've tried most nigerian restaurants in calgary so as to add more diversity to my review boards and website and this was the worst. The jollof rice was like rice boiled or infused with a million cloves, couldn't taste anything else. The traditional ofa rice was made with peanut oil (even i know that's properly wrong), and worse it tasted like the used kind like used to fry seafood. It was somehow primarily tasteless but with a horrible aftertaste/smell. Gizzards were pretty good. But Asun was also lacking. Had to throw most of it out. My advice, Go to Merilyns or Delish or Ahinke's."

"Honestly Disappointed. When I made 2 servings of the turkey, I wasn't expecting that I'd get 2total pieces.... for the $16 cost, i was expecting maybe 3-4 Pieces of turkey. They could atleast indicate that you'd be getting one(1) singular piece. other places I've ordered from send 2-3 per order. when you order chicken wings for example, youre not expecting 1 lone wing to be served to you. It feels like a ripoff and next time I'll just wait for my favorite shop to be open instead because I dont think it's worth the cost.

"I hadn't had Ethiopian in awhile, and was really craving it. So, I ordered the Yetsom Beyaynetu which is more than enough for one person to eat as a meal, or great as an appetizer for multiple people (awesome platter! loved it!). I also ordered the Timatim Fitfit which is a mix of injera, tomato, and jalapeno in a sauce: delicious and really fresh. It's somewhat of a salad, definitely a large portion meant for sharing. The final item ordered was the Kay Wot which was quite spicy (super tasty, but clearly I haven't been keeping my slice tolerance up). Those three items were enough for 2-3 people; so, I have tonnes of leftovers! Injera was delicious, I saw other reviewers complaining it's too sour, but it's a fermented bread, it's always going to be sour. Anyway, I loved it! I think this will be my new Ethiopian go-to!
