"I purchased the custard filled donut holes and they were delicious. Evenly packed with custard with a crunchy outer layer covered in glaze. I also got a chocolate bar which was soft and the chocolate glaze was flavorful not diet chocolate tasting if that makes sense. 2 glazed donuts which were fresh and soft. The best item for me was the bear claw, it was crunchy and evenly flavoredIt did not have apple pieces like others have but I don't mind that at all, actually prefer it that way. All items were sized appropriately with the donut holes being slightly bigger than other donut shops. This place blew me away and it is safe to say I have found my new go to donut shop!"

My husband got the Cafe de Olla and he LOVED it! He's a picky coffee drinker so that was a good sign. I got the White Chocolate Mocha and it was divine. Creamy and sweet with the right amount of coffee flavor. We also got pan dulce, cuernitos and conchas and they were delicious. Fresh and soft and just pure perfection. Can't believe we waited so long to try Con Azúcar, but so glad we finally did. It's a BEAUTIFUL cafe located downtown that brings delicious food and coffee options to Modesto. "This is our go to for breakfast, but the meat to starch ratio was very underwhelming this time. The chicken fried steak was deliscious in my Tom's Scramble ! But the size of it compared to the biscuits and egg were puny. I also did not get very much gravy. My husband's The Mississippi Skillet had very little bacon and ham.
