It was so good I shared my sandwich with a coworker so they could experience the goodness. The beef was extra tender and flavorful! The bread was toasted to PERFECTION! A lot of restaurants send soggy toast through DoorDash...NOT THE MELTDOWN! The Meltdown even sent condiments, utensils, and a moist towelette without me requesting it. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Bacon Alfredo and the Buffalo Chicken Ranch Mac & Cheese because they were two of the highest-rated items on the menu. I figured those would be the safest choices. If these are considered the best dishes, I can’t imagine what the rest of the menu tastes like.
I’m not a picky eater. I’ll eat almost anything if it tastes good, and in more than 30 years I’ve never felt the need to leave a negative food review. I understand restaurants can have an off day, but this experience was different.
The Crispy Chicken Bacon Alfredo had very little Alfredo flavor, almost no bacon flavor, and the pasta itself was bland. The Buffalo Chicken Ranch Mac & Cheese lacked both buffalo and ranch flavor and was just as disappointing. The only thing both dishes had in common was an overwhelming amount of salt.
For $16–$18 per dish, this quality is simply unacceptable. There are far too many restaurants today serving fresh, flavorful food at the same price.
As someone who worked as a chef years ago, I know what quality food should taste like. Based on my experience, these dishes showed no attention to flavor, balance, or quality.
I’m writing this review to save other people from wasting their money. I will never order from this company again, and I would never recommend it to my family or friends.
Take your money somewhere else. You’ll almost certainly get a much better meal for the same price."
