The Bo kho soup was much looser, more like a broth than a stew like we're used to, but it was still very tasty. I loved that the bun Bo hue came with pork hocks. I can't find that anywhere in DC. Also loved that it's not too spicy. My main complaints are that the ca kho to was too small, they forgot the cracker that was suppsed to go with the hen xuc banh da, and there was only bean sprouts for the bun Bo hue and none of the other veggies."

The Garden Rolls were falling apart before we could pick them up. And the Mom's Famous Crispy Spring Rolls tasted like a mouthful of pure grease. Also, we paid for an extra Extra Sate, but only got one tiny container that was half empty. Nothing "extra" was delivered. I had never left a bad review before, but we are beyond disappointed. We work way too hard to waste money like this, and were left hungry. Customer service only offered 1/3 of the anount we paid, as a refund. What a joke. "

"Banh Mi Oi absolutely nails what a great bánh mì should be. The flavor balance is incredible — savory, fresh, bright, and packed with layers of texture in every bite. The bread deserves special mention: perfectly crisp on the outside with that soft, airy interior that so many places miss. You can tell the ingredients are high quality too, from the fresh herbs and pickled veggies to the meats and pâté. Nothing tastes cheap or rushed.
Their iced coffee is also outstanding — strong, smooth, and sweet without going overboard. It pairs perfectly with the sandwiches.
My only minor critique is the price. It’s a little expensive for bánh mì, but honestly it’s pretty much on par with the area these days, and the quality makes it easier to justify. Definitely one of the better bánh mì spots around."

"I ordered through DoorDash and had a very disappointing experience. The grilled pork vermicelli (bún thịt nướng) x1 was poorly made—the pork was burnt, blackened, and tasted bitter. It was dry and not enjoyable at all. The fish sauce was also very bland and lacked flavor.
The broken rice with pork (cơm sườn) x2 was not much better. The shredded pork skin (bì) was soggy and slightly slimy, as if it wasn’t fresh, which made it very unappetizing.
On top of that, the order did not include any utensils—no spoon, no chopsticks—which made it very inconvenient to eat.
I also called the restaurant to give feedback and lets them know about it, but the staff were rude, unhelpful, and refused to take responsibility and the man over the phone was so rude and impolite!!The customer service was just as disappointing as the food.

For delivery, "You're gonna need a bigger bowl." I've got a 2½- quart glass covered casserole that I think is perfect.
it's different getting pho delivered, as opposed to at the restaurant. With delivery, you get sort of a "kit". The broth is in its own container; noodles & chicken in another; and bean sprouts and all the toppings in a plastic bag. You have to assemble it all into a bowl of pho. Heat the broth to just shy of boiling while you assemble the other ingredients in a large bowl you can cover. (plastic wrap or a plastic bag you can twist tie will do to cover). Pour the hot broth over the other ingredients, mix, and cover for a few minutes to "cook"; then enjoy.😋"
