"2nd time trying here - been meaning to & they had a discount special, I would say the food is good, 3/5 but nothing to write home about. the 1st order I tried a bagel sandwich, the bagel was tough but the latte was ok. this time I tried Croissant Sandwich - Sausage, Egg & Cheese. the croissant is smaller then what you'd expect but not mini, however really thin & because it's so thin, there's not enough bread/dough for the amount of butter that's in the layers and it's saturated and really oily. honestly if I was ever to repeat, I wouldn't bother with the cheese and in generally the flavor of the sandwich was muted. couldn't really taste anything, even the patty with the seasoning didn't stand out. I don't think I'd get again. Great Pumpkin Latte - I wish the store allowed notes, the flavor profile is good with the spice but I'd ask for less as it was overpowering and you didn't get any coffee (espresso) flavor, even with a double shot."

They were all large so I was very disappointed that I paid for two large coffees that were not filled up. We had to fix them up by adding more coffee and creamer at home. "I really enjoy eating at the Toasted Yolk, but opted for delivery today. The food was just as good and tasty as it is in the restaurant! I ordered the Two Eggs and A Cake with soft scrambled eggs, chicken sausage and grits. The eggs were cooked to perfection! Few restaurants get this right! The chicken sausage is delicious (don't knock it till you try it!). The pancake is amazing. It came with whipped butter and syrup. The whipped butter is super creamy on top. I also ordered a Side Hash Grilled and Gourmet Coffee. The hash is yummy! The flavor is just right. The Gourmet Coffee is just that...gourmet. It's smooth and rich. I was a bit disappointed that I didn't receive any cream or sugar, but it's possible I missed the selection when ordering.
I also ordered the Strawberry Field Salad with blackberry vinaigrette. The grilled chicken that comes on top is like a thin sliced deli meat. That said, the Strawberry Field Salad is delicious and the blackberry vinaigrette is perfectly balanced and delicious on this salad.
All in all, great job to the Toasted Yolk! I will be ordering again!"
