I ordered Shanghai Noodles and it was amazing.
Generous portion, tender and tasty meat plus lots of it (which I've never seen before) shrimp was a decent size. Slightly spicy hot but then they say that on the menu.
The only thing I noticed that some might not like is that there wasn't a lot of vegetables. Mostly onion and tiny, barely visible julienned
carrots.
Oh, it was under $20 which is another bonus.

I ordered Chicken Soo Gai & Beef with Mixed Vegetables. There wasn't much taste to the fried rice, the vegetables were overcooked and the battered, deep fried chicken was greasy.
But then, if I order the same thing at any other Chinese restaurant I'm likely to get the same thing, battered and greasy.

The PT1. Pad Thai with Chicken / Pad ThĂĄi GĂ / éčççąłç˛ was absolutely delicious and I was blown away by the huge portion size. Best part for me was the chicken itself. the chicken was grilled, which is something I've never had with other pad thai but it took this meal to a whole other level. I don't think I can ever have pad Thai without grilled chicken ever again lol.
My only suggestion/criticism is that the pad Thai could have used just a little bit more sauce.

"It never occured to write a review for Pho Xic Lo. I can't remember how many years I've been going there. Long before delivery. My boyfriend I used to go there every three weeks (around 2010) then I've been there with a number of friends and every time, the food is excellent. Great service, too!
There are a few items I often order because they are so delicious. My favourites are: Summer Rolls (the peanut sauce is amazing), Pháť Medium Rare Beef (the broth is so delicious), Pháť Grilled Chicken, Vermicelli Grilled Chicken (I can't describe how delicious the grilling is), Three Colour Drink. If you've never tried this one, you must. You won't regret it. (I usually ask for it without the ice)

My favourite is Gobi Rice or Noodles. They are hot as there is no temperature choice when ordering. However, it tastes amazing. I 've ordered it several times and will order again and again.
Then I really like Chicken Egg Noodles. I noticed that there wasn't chicken but small pieces of BBQ pork - which I don't mind because I love BBQ pork. The photo on the menu doesn't look anything like the dish. There is quite a variety of thinly sliced vegetables. In real life it's far more appetizing than that picture. (I wish I could add a photo of it)
One item I won't be ordering again is Goat Kothu. There isn't a temperature option on ordering and it is crazy HOT. Too hot for me. The first few bites were delicious but then I couldn't finish it because it is just too hot.
But the crème de la crème... Falooda. Sweet heaven in a glass. There are no words to describe - you've go to try it."

I ordered Avakai Mutton Biryani, Mint Chutney, Salan and Mango Rasmalai.
I've been ordering Rose Milk (you've got to try it) for a while as a double dash. Tonight I decided to order a meal for the first time.
The Biryani was a little hot for me but I still like the hot, I just have yogurt or kefir to cool my tongue. The portion was large enough that I have half left over for another day. The Biryani was full of flavour. Lots and lots of flavour.
I didn't like the Salan but the Mint Chutney had a wonderful surprise. Dill. You'd think mint and dill would be awful together but this was really delicious. I will definitely order it again.
Finally the Mango Rasmalai. Sweet and tasty. The restaurant's description is exactly how it is except I don't recall any pistachios. Yet a perfect dessert to cool your tongue.
The only thing I wish was different was the size of the side sauces. I'd like them to be a little larger."

The sauces are only on the end of one half of the sub. Extremely disappointing - the taste is gross and not at all what we expected. The buns are also stale and lacking freshness.
