"This place is typically top notch, however today was extremely disappointing. Ordered a mixed shawarma plate like usual & don't know where to begin. To start, it arrived kinda lukewarm, almost cold. Pair that with how dry & chewy the meat was, I'd presume it was leftovers that were reheated as it did not taste fresh. The garlic sauce, hummus & fattoush were all soaked in oil, so much so that I couldn't even taste the garlic sauce over all of the oil & had to rinse my mouth out afterwards. "I'm impressed. I have been looking for a good Lebanese restaurant and I think I may have found it. I ordered the Special Plate and it was excellent. The salad (fattoush) was very surprising as it had the same seasonings that my Mother used - wow! Very delicious. The meat was tender and tasty. The garlic sauce was amazing. The rice was perfect. Generous portions... unfortunately there is another thing that I ordered and it tasted so horrible it was inedible - their baba ghanoush.
I don't know how to describe it. When making baba ghanoush you char the eggplant in the oven under the broiler. I don't know how but it tasted burnt, not charred. And there was some other ingredient which I have no idea what it was but it tasted horrible.
Having said that, I don't have to order baba ghanoush again. (I'll make it myself) But I definitely will be ordering from Fattoush Express again. If you are still reading this, I highly recommend it.

"It never occured to write a review for Pho Xic Lo. I can't remember how many years I've been going there. Long before delivery. My boyfriend I used to go there every three weeks (around 2010) then I've been there with a number of friends and every time, the food is excellent. Great service, too!
There are a few items I often order because they are so delicious. My favourites are: Summer Rolls (the peanut sauce is amazing), Phở Medium Rare Beef (the broth is so delicious), Phở Grilled Chicken, Vermicelli Grilled Chicken (I can't describe how delicious the grilling is), Three Colour Drink. If you've never tried this one, you must. You won't regret it. (I usually ask for it without the ice)
