The Hand-Breaded Western Bacon Chicken Burger and other burgers were great, Carl Jnr is now in my kids top 3 fave shops along with hungry jacks (which this is a dupe of)
The drinks were, VERY refreshingly, filled to the brim, full of fizz and cold- Perfect 👌
Points lost because the chips are gross with a HIGH volume of potato skin. i wasn't expecting it to be an issue as i love wedges, so it is odd. Another star down because the food is well overpriced, especially for the small portions recieved.

The chicken on the Hand-Breaded Western Bacon Chicken Burger was dry and bland, and there was very little sauce I couldn't taste it on most of the Hand-Breaded Western Bacon Chicken Burger nor was the bacon particularly noticeable

Really disappointed, actually. My best friend raves about Carls. Finally got it - and it's literally a Hungry Jacks Whopper. Burger was cooked well, though. Chips were cold. I was so excited for this to be my new joint but it turns out it's an old joint.

For the price and the hype, very disappointing. The burgers were nice but nothing special. The waffle fries were cold and disgusting. Won't be buying again. Luckily the milkshake was good.
