I LOVE everything about Romi's! Everything is incredibly fresh and feels like it was made with so much love. One of my absolute faves is the Waygu Beef Shwarma. It's like the most giant and delish hug, all-in-one! And its pic hardly does it full justice.

I love this place it never misses but the prices are completely crazy for the portions. Romi's Hummus is so good truly top tier and that serving is a good decent size but for $20+ I am expecting more than one pita when I order a side of that?? I order DD when I'm out of groceries so I managed to eat maybe 1/4 of the hummus with the single pita which is ridiculous lol. Am I supposed to eat the rest with a spoon!? Solid 5/5 I would be happy to change if the prices weren't insane but between this and $1.50 for extra mayo it's become hard to justify ordering here

Maybe I need to keep trying because I love the idea of this place and reviews are so positive. I've had takeout twice and both times were disappointing. Challah does not taste very fresh and is so expensive. Way better challah for much less all over this neighbourhood. Hummus is heavy on tahini and nothing else. Eggplant salad also lacks salt and acid. Disappointing experience with the dips and the baked goods. Cookies are good, not great. Idk what I'm missing, maybe I'm just used to more acid and salt which isn't their style.
(Also I paid more to have labneh in the bogo Buy One/Get One Dips and Mezze! but they were sold out so sent hummus and cookies instead which was very nice, but I paid a premium for that labneh)

The Wagyu Brisket Hummus was tasty. The only issue is that the brisket itself was 30% all fat in one solidified whole piece, and the beef quantity was about 60% less than the advertised picture, so I'm not sure about the quality control. It fet like false advertising.
The a -la-cart pita bread I ordered was severely dry.
The Bureka Sandwich was good, and so were the Cinnamon Rugelach rolls.
Overall, I would try this place again and currently avoid the items I had issues with.
