"I've been searching for a good Thai place for several years. I've found my place. The food is always quick to arrive and flavorful. I get the thai Thai Spicy Basil but have also had tom ka soup I highly recommend. I try to stay fairly low carb, so I usually order extra protein with my entree so I won't be tempted to indulge in all of the jasmine rice. I get the next to the highest spice level, and it is perfect for me. However I do like spicy foods- just not ones that are more spicy than full flavored. Thai Jasmine is now a go to at least once a month. I usually get two meals out of one entree, so I feel it is a good value for the price."

"The Pad Thai (beef) was quite delicious. It's really the dish I judge Thai restaurants on and I was not disappointed. Beef was tender, good ratio of the different ingredients and their in-house peanut sauce was great, not your typical peanut sauce, they added some other herbs/spices. I selected "Thai Spicy" and even put in the special requests, "seriously, very very very spicy." I did notice the lettuce leaves included with the Signature Chicken Lettuce Wraps were not as fresh and not as plentiful as the last order that was mostly green and leafy leaves. This new order had mostly thick hard outer pieces that had some browning that had to be removed.
I also ordered extra egg in the shrimp fried rice and did not feel that I got that as I did in the last order. I didn't want any vegetables at all so shouldn't have been short changed on the eggs. The shrimp was cooked perfectly.
The proportions were good for everything. Food other than the lettuce noted above was very fresh and tasty.
I loved the extra care and attention to packaging. I felt confident as the bags were knotted to deter tampering. This was a plus and something not done on the last order.
I will definitely order again but hope that Pei Wei considers this honest feedback as constructive.
