"I was so diappointed that I paid over $20 for this cup of rice. It came in a pint size container full to the top with rice and the bread placed on top not separate. There was a few shrimp on the bottom. No roux or liquid you would expect from gumbo.
This is NOT GUMBO. It's rice with a little shrimp thrown in the bottom.
I love most everything we've ordered from this restaurant but this gumbo is a colossal disappointment.

"We are normally big fans of Cracker Barrel. This experience was way below expectations. The Scratch-Made Meatloaf Family Meal was not worth the price paid. The meatloaf was dry and crusty as if it had been sitting out all day. The biscuits were dried out and hard. I could have used them as hockey pucks. The peach cobbler was a complete joke. The price was over $7, and it was a tiny bowl with a spoon of peach pie filling. There was no "cobbler". The mashed potatoes and fried okra were good. They were the only items worth eating."

"I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because they are very expensive. The pizza was the Land Lover and was excellentbut only the size of a medium at other places. It was around $28. I was shocked when we got it. For the price, we expected a big pizza... at least a large. The Strombolis were also excellent. I will order them without the poppy seeds next time. The Garlic knots were also excellent but for some reason they were hard. The Cannoli's were also excellent, large and very tasty! "
