16-year-old devoured the Chicken & Waffle and the tiny taste I got was very good.
Husband said that the Monte Cristo wasn't great. Chips were under seasoned and didn't taste very fresh (again could be delivery there). The bread was just plain toasted white bread, so it was mushy and soggy (a heartier bread would have been better). He said it was just like a regular ham and cheese sandwich, but the strawberry sauce was good.
There's nothing "Creole" about the Creole Gumbo. The soup base is definitely from a package/can, it had chunks of tomato (sacrilege) in it and the only redeeming quality was the chicken and sausage which tasted fresh and was quite good. I am Cajun myself so have high gumbo standards...but they do call it "Creole" and they honestly shouldnt. This was just awful. They also charged me for oysters and crawfish that I added, but they forgot them and the serving size was terrible (pictured) for the price/quality.
The Fried Green Benedict was not as advertised & contained no "fried" green tomatoes, just regular sliced green tomatoes (pictured). The home fries were underseasoned and basic, the hollandaise was very vinegar heavy, as they used either white vinegar or apple cider vinegar to make it, which was super overpowering.. otherwise consistency was good. Typically hollandaise has lemon juice... so perhaps just not for me. So it would be good if you love very vinegar heavy hollandaise. The ham was not shaved as pictured on doordash, but in big dry ham steak chunks (see delivery pics), which made it harder to eat. The eggs were poached perfectly and the only enjoyable part.

"The veg butter curry, samosa chat, onion samosa, and chutneys were the best items. The dosa tasted like how stale cereal tastes after being open for a month in a cardboard box with the flavor lingering after swallowing. The masala dosa mix was good but Hello India is nearby and so much better with a richer flavor. The idli didn't taste fermented and had no sour or yogurt flavor; they were very bland. The sambar was Earthy and good but missing some of the sour flavor and was too salty. The Chettinand Kuzhambu fragrant and earthy but needs a decent of amount of rice to balance the salt.
Overall not bad. Some hits, some misses, some in betweens. Their lunch thali combo is probably worth going back but maybe order somewhere else because there are other great options in the area that are more consistent with their menu.
Kuppanna's Thiru Kuppusamy Unavagam and Hello India would be my choice over this. I would get Southern Spice butter curries, chat, and samosa again. Those were well made."

"The Yellow Curry& Tom-Kha Soup (Coconut Soup)were very delicious and filling. Heaven Beef was a little salty by itself but the chili sauce really balances that out. The Fried Calamari was hot & fresh so tasty!! Zenna is quickly becoming my go to spot!!"
