"All my boyfriend has talked about for a day was wanting an everything bagel. I live 30 mi. away in the SFV. He travels from my house to work by motorcycle so I wanted to do something nice for him so I dashed a surprise brunch bagel and OJ as he arrived. "When I originally visited the Torrance lunasia, it was shortly after they opened and a little chaotic. my order was not correct and the food was not as wonderful as the Cerritos location. I chalked it up to working out the Kinks of opening a new location.
I decided to try again and ordered delivery. I ordered Salt and Pepper Spare Ribs 椒鹽排骨 , which, by the way, seemed to be full pork loin chops, large, thick and juicy. Wonderful surprise.
I ordered the Pan-Fried Vermicelli w/ Curry 星洲炒米粉 (known to me as Singapore style rice noodle). Chock full of BBQ pork, shrimp so large you can't eat in one bite, egg and other delicious veggies.
The Hot and sour soup (Bowl) 酸辣湯 was also delicious, not too sour, the seasoning was well-balanced.
And finally, the Macao Style Egg Custard 葡國蛋撻. They were still warm, so I had to eat one right away. It was wonderful to bite into the warm, crispy crust and delicious soft custard center. YUMMMM!

A little disappointed that it didn’t have any mushrooms or baby corn like it says in the description. This was my first time trying this dish here, and while it was tasty, I specifically ordered it because I was craving baby corn and there wasn’t any. 😒
Wonton Soup :
This is my favorite dish from this place! I usually only order the soup because the other dishes don’t look very appetizing to me, but their Wonton Soup is always delicious and served in a generous portion.
Overall:
The portions are great and the flavors are good. I’ll definitely keep ordering the soup, but probably not the Shrimp Chop Suey again. Just to clarify, the taste was fine, but I like that dish to have the crunch from mushrooms and baby corn, and this one was missing that texture, which made it a bit bland in that sense."
