The cheese bread Cheese Sticks could've been slightly better. The edges were pretty crispy and the edges basically had no melted cheese. Also, other locations have provided 2 sauce cups but we only got 1 for 10 half sticks. Makes it pretty tight and there's no option on the DoorDash menu to ask for more sauce or even buy additional sauces. Lots of people like ranch, garlic butter, etc. but it's not an option and it doesn't allow you to make any "requests" on the order. But we made it work, this time. Delivery was quick and handled perfectly. Food was still nice and warm."

I didn't complain or send it back because I was at dinner with my son. So when I placed the door dash order for shrimp and grits delivery,I was sure to send instructions to "remove the tails from the shrimp ". Fortunately they did so,but I received a Styrofoam cup of grits (minus the cream sauce,)and a container filled with hush puppies and 4( FOUR!) shrimp! They were big and no tails,but I would love to have more.I am not one of those people who whine and bitch about everything and I realize that things happen but I am disappointed and will not be ordering it again.I guess I will have to reach out to palmetto Smokehouse for delivery next time.I don't recommend the hook for shrimp and grits delivery."

We tried different sauces, and I thought the "Saucy Honey" would be kind of sweet (and it was), but although it was very tasty, it was also very "saucy"! Lol! I can't do food with a "kick", so be warned that this one has some "sass" to it. The flavor was great, but it was more than my poor little stomach could handle. We also tried the BBQ one, and it was good as well.
We ordered the Boneless & the Bone-In versions...both were very good. Although I prefer the boneless, gluten-free peeps need to avoid this one, because it has a delicious coating that I'm sure is not safe for us. (Of course. I ate it anyway & regretted it later.) The bone-in doesn't have any breaded coating that I could tell, so depending on which flavor you order, you may be okay with this version. All-in-all we had a great experience for our first time ordering from The Saucy Hen. "
