"This visit really surprised us. We'be tried Clermont Fish House several times over the years but it seemed to always fall short. The last time, all the batter was very greasy and soggy. We decided to try again and it very much surprised us this time. Everything was hot, delicious, and crispy. The only negative I could give would be the portion size of curry sauce was not enough. Being british, we still miss "proper chips" but the chips served here are not your average restaurant fries and so they are enjoyable and slightly different being thick cut. I have a few recommendations. You should offer a choice of "no seasoning" on the steak. I was not fond of it, and like everything else, there was a generous amount of it. You should also offer a choice of the toast being toasted in a toaster, without the background flavor of the meat seasoning from the grill. Also, you might offer a choice of untoasted. And when you offer any kind of bread, butter should be included. The grape jelly was a nice addition, but I would have preferred butter, either instead of, or in addition to, the jelly. All in all, an excellent meal. I will order again in the future.
